Nusa Ceningan - smallest of the 3 popular islands near Bali

The Blue Lagoon is the biggest attraction on Nusa Ceningan; no swimming is allowed due to the rough waves but it's nice to view
The Yellow Bridge, which connects Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan, collapsed in 2018 killing 8 people and injuring more than 40; those impacted had just attended a Hindu celebration
Lee and I have really liked the prices in Indonesia; this is the view from our $23 hotel room looking from Nusa Ceningan to Nusa Lembongan (note Lee in the pool)
Lee and I checked out the snorkeling at Secret Point Beach but the currents were too strong; the 3 Nusa islands near Bali were scenic but offered very limited snorkeling options
There wasn't much colorful coral around Nusa Ceningan with most of it either broken in pieces or bleached; this is the low season so there were few tourists (high season is March 15 - December 15)
This bag brought back lots of memories from my days at Frito; the header on the bag resembles the old Doritos logo yet the product is corn chips like Fritos (naturally, I didn't try them)
The only practical way to get around on Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan is on a scooter; Lee rented this for $7 day and put up with an extremely nervous passenger
Rather than go to Bali proper we opted for more remote islands visiting Nusa Penida, Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan (center of picture) before visiting the Gili Islands just off Lombok
Nusa Ceningan has been popular for crazies wanting to cliff jump; there are 5 and 13 meter platforms (behind Lee) that are open when the tides are high enough for safe entries
Luzon Sea Star with 6 arms; it was difficult taking fish photos here because of the currents and rough waters but the stationary sea stars were easier
The Yellow Bridge is only for pedestrians and scooters; it's a little tight with 2 scooters passing each other especially when they have luggage or bulky goods
There are lots of natural attractions on the 3 Nusa Islands near Bali such as arches, caves, beaches, cliffs and large tidal ranges; unlike larger Nusa Penida, Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan had very few cars and were easier to navigate
